Why you should take fingerprints at your funeral home:
Taking ink fingerprint impressions is one of the easiest and most cost effective ways of sharing something super personal with families from their deceased person
More families are looking for ways to keep their person feeling close. Families use fingerprints to get tattoos and memorial jewellery made with their person’s prints
Add a thoughtful and personal offering to families who hadn’t considered that fingerprints might be something they would cherish in the future - It’s too late once the cremation or burial has taken place but only takes a minute and can mean the world to families
Why you need this kit for your team and mortuary:
Sometimes prints seem ‘barely there’ or are very fragile
The included ink pad is made from a reconstituted, flat and self inking pumice stone and will provide the clearest prints for the majority of deceased persons between the ages of 6 and 65. It is simple to use and can make thousands of individual prints without needing to be re-inked
For times when the fingertips are fragile or wet you can use the powder and lift method using Bolton’s Black Powder and a squirrel hair brush ton get the best possible prints
The mortuary spoon (strip holder) helps to access the fingertip of the deceased person without difficultly when the angle or access to the fingertip seems hard to reach
The items in this kit have been specially selected based on decades of experience in working with people and fingerprints. We have seen first hand how much better fingerprints are if taken using tools and techniques from this kit
